If you’re a loyal reader, than you have definitely seen me post about La Serena Villas. As our summer is coming to an end, we couldn't think of a sweeter end to our travels than to come back for one last staycation. We were treated to the presidential suite, and OMG… it was the most luxurious place I have EVER stayed. Situated next to the Palm Courtyard, this one bedroom bungalow spans 865 square feet. Complete with a full living room + fireplace, dining room, massive bathroom + gorgeous canopy bed in the private master bedroom, this space was meant to dazzle. We absolutely loved snuggling up on the couch and watching the wind blow through the trees outside the oversized arched windows. When we were able to pull ourselves out of the bungalow and out onto the private patio, we got to enjoy the lovely outdoor tub + fire pit. There is nothing quite like the bliss of soaking in an outdoor bathtub, listening to the sounds of birds chirping while enjoying the view of the San Jacinto Mountains. Trust me, once you see these photos, you’ll be booking your stay ASAP! After spending time at our bungalow, we ventured out to the pool area. We loved lounging on the floaties while working on a golden tan that only Palm Springs 115 degree heat can give you. Luckily, the beautiful Azucar restaurant was just steps away from the pool, so we could escape the heat for a cocktail + munchies. We had such a dreamy afternoon here, and it is not something we will ever forget. If you have an anniversary coming up, I highly recommend booking your stay at La Serena Villas :)
