Hey babes.
This post is going to be a fun one! I'm so excited to show you where we explored while we were in the bohemian paradise of Tulum Mexico. One of my favorite parts of planning a trip is researching the cutest and most 'instagrammable' places, and I wanted to put together a little travel guide for you babes incase you ever wanted to visit Tulum, which I highly recommend.
If you follow me on Instagram, then you have already seen me rave about these places, but keep reading for a full breakdown of where to go.
Mama Matcha -
amazing little roadside place to grab a smoothie or açaí bow, and maybe the iconic swing photo. (this is an all white and green wooden oasis, and its super instagram worthy)
Coco Tulum -
Im sure you've seen this one on IG. Its the most beautiful all white restaurant, compete with a bar made of swings facing the ocean. There is even a shell shower!
Casa Malca -
a MUST see. Located at nearly the end of the main Tulum strip, its well worth the trip. This is where you will find the iconic hanging couch. There is also stunning beach access, where you will find cabanas + a wooden wall + a swing + more! Did I mention that this used to be Pablo Escobars mansion!?
Tulum Mayan Ruins -
We had to see the ancient ruins, and it was such a cool experience. There is an entrance fee, which I think was around 30 pesos ($1.50USD). Inside you'll see the ruins, monkeys, ocean access, iguanas, and lots of tourists. I recommend getting there right when they open at 9am to avoid the busses of tourists. We got there at 1pm where there was a ton of people, but we still had a great time.
Cenote La Gloria -
Defined by Wikipedia, a Cenote is: is a natural pit, or sinkhole, resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater underneath. They are nothing short of breathtaking. We had so much fun swimming and playing around on the swing that was tied to a giant tree that overhung the Cenote. If you're anything like me, you're afraid of mosquitoes, cold water, and fish. But, I got over these fears and leaped into this beautiful Cenote and I have no regrets. I recommend bringing ridiculous looking water shoes because the bottom of the Cenote is covered in moss which is gross and slippery.
Nomade -
Windhchime gardens, beach front dining, and the most epic bohemian decorations everywhere. You'll thank me later ;)
