Much more fun than a typical 9 to 5
Last December, (almost exactly a year ago, crazy how fast time flies!) I was casted to be a featured girl in the Enrique Iglesias feat. Pitbull music video for his song 'Freak' and it was such a blast. Seeing iconic faces up close was trippy! Its like i didnt believe they were standing next to me haha Surprisingly, i wasnt star struck, i was just interested in finding out if they were down to earth or not, Enrique definitely is, and Pitbull was way cool. They look exactly the same in person as they do on camera, which i wasnt expecting!
The set was badass. I pulled up to the secluded mansion and the first thing i see is a giant chicken on the lawn! And streamers everywhere. It reminded me a lot of the movie 'Project X'
The director had us running across the lawn into the house like something out of Braveheart. Some girl was running too fast and had a girl on her shoulders, and so she hit her head on a low hanging beam and im pretty sure was knocked unconsious..
Then there was a giant cake fight and girls ended up covered in syrup and frosting. Every scene had a way of turning into a twerk battle, and so many profesional dancers on set made the night incredible (aside from the twerking) LOL
But this was an experience of a lifetime, and I cant wait to shoot my next music video. You may have also noticed me in the 5 Seconds of Summer video for 'She Looks so Perfect' and Justice Crew video for 'Que Sera' as the girl Johnny falls in love with.
"Enrique Iglesias has teamed up with Pitbull for the upcoming “Freak”–and the new teaser for the video sure looks like Enrique is swiping some ideas from Robin Thicke. Fortunately, that includes surrounding himself with lots of hot models. One of them was hard to miss. We all remember how Emily Ratajkowski stood out in the “Blurred Lines” video, and we were just as quick to catch Eva Catherine as one of the partying babes freaking out with Enrique Iglesias.
That’s big news to us. Eva Catherine was a Miss COED just a few months ago–on October 7th, 2013, to be exact. And we like to be exact when it comes to Eva. We were seriously charmed by this California Girl with the riveting bod and amazing personality, and we’re looking forward to seeing more of Eva when the “Freak” video gets a full release this Friday.
There’s a pretty good dirty joke there to set up this gallery, but we’re too classy to follow up on that one. Instead, we’ll just throb burst glow with pride over Eva showing up in this video–especially because we know that she’s the perfect mix of fun gal and bright babe that really knows how to make something like “Freak” work.
