Slice of Paradise
Johnny & I stayed at an amazing resort this past weekend, and we are so excited to share our experience with you :)
Everything was perfect. From the welcome when we arrived, to the luxury rooms, to the stunning views, even to the gourmet food served at the Melange, The Chateau at Lake La Quinta hit it out of the park.
When you first pull up, you're greeted by some amazing ivy walls and a beautiful walkway.
When you open up the stunning wrought iron door, you immediately feel like you're in a fairy tale.
The entry is grand, and the striped staircase wraps around to take you to the 2nd floor, where our room was :)
We had a view of the pool, and a private balcony with an incredible view of lake La Quinta.
Not only were the custom rooms beautiful (and the bed... so comfy!), the food is to die for! When you head back downstairs, you can have a yummy meal down by the lake. I especially loved this area because it had some rad rock fire pits, string lights, and the lake was gorgeous at night. It made for an unforgettable, romantic dinner for two. I highly recommend the Melange (name of the Chateau's cafe) for anniversary dinners! It wont fail to impress ;) Johnny and I ordered the mango mahi mahi, and the flat iron steak with garlic mashed potatoes. SO yummy! We also tried their flat bread pizza for lunch, and their eggs rancheros for breakfast. You definitely will not go hungry at this place! One of my favorite little resort cafes :)
We hung out by the pool quite a bit in their lounge chairs, that are seriously my new favorite thing!
Youll see why when you scroll down (; Make sure to go all the way to the bottom for a video!
If you go to Coachella, I highly recommend booking this place now to reserve a little piece of heaven before it sells out :)
