NO. 196 The Project Womens Experience

#PROJECT READY

VIVA LAS VEGAS : This year, i was flown out to Vegas for the Project Women's trade show to be one of their 6 featured bloggers. It was such a blast meeting the biggest names in the fashion industry, and spending time with incredible people. Made some friends to last a lifetime :)

When we arrived at the Mandalay Bay hotel, we were greeted by a MASSIVE check in line. We waited for over 1.5 hours, so the hotel staff upgraded our room to a gorgeous view of the Las Vegas Strip! What a sight to wake up to.

Day one, I had total ADD at Project, too many amazing brands in one place!

Spell and the Gypsy Collective, Mate the Label, MinkPink, Somedays Lovin, Show me your MUMU, RAGA, Rebecca Minkoff, NightCap Clothing, Lovestrength, just to name a few :) I had to pinch myself sometimes to remind myself that it was real life. One of my favorite parts was meeting people face to face that I follow on Instagram. Its such a cool experience to finally see these talented ladies in person! They are all super humble, and drop dead gorgeous. Cant wait to see what the future holds!

Night one, we went to dinner at the Cosmopolitan with the show director Kelly, and enjoyed the most amazing food I've ever eaten. (except maybe the pizza from Secret Pizza). RAGA LA let me pull a gorgeous sequin dress to wear out to dinner, and i felt like a rockstar. I sat next to the editor of WWD (women's wear daily) and we chatted about her daughter and work for awhile :) Rachel Mccord and her husband Rick of the Mccord List sat next to us as well, and I cant wait to see them when we are all back in Cali. Such a power couple! After dinner, we went over to see Wiz Khlaifa DJ, which was insane!

Day 2 we met with so many amazing designers and shot some photos for Golden One Silk, MINKPINK, Somedays Lovin', and Christina Green Jewelry :) We loved the gorgeous architecture of the building, so we stayed local and took advantage of the tropical vibes. Ill put the links to the lookbooks below!

Night two, we headed over to the Aria hotel for a yummy blogger dinner at Herringbone. There was a dish made by Death By Potatoes, and their name is an understatement. These mashed potatoes had onions, pieces of bacon and tons of cheese. Death served hot on a plate but oh so good! It was rad to meet the dude bloggers who were the Official Project Mens Bloggers.

Day 3, we gave out the blogger awards. I handed a plaque and champagne out to Mate the Label, and she was so excited, it was adorable, and totally well deserved!

As the day came to an end, I pulled some clothes from Salt Water Luxe and belts from my babe Lovestrength, and shot some amazingness with Hailley Howard and my official photographer Johnny Chicollo ;) Lookbook can be found HERE :)
