MY STAY AT HOTEL R DE PARIS

Hotel R De Paris takes luxury to a whole new level. From the all marble floors to the Hermes welcome gifts, I felt spoiled upon setting foot in this gorgeous hotel. Although super luxurious, it still has a homey feel and I enjoyed every minute of my stay :)

Luxurious Living Quarters

Right when we walked in the room, it was like a scene out of a movie. Light flooded in through the windows and champagne waited for us along with decadent Hermes welcome gifts that consisted of a perfume roller + full size body wash that smells like summer citrus.

We immediately dove into the plush bed and melted into the down comforter + pillows. The bed had the perfect view of the luxe marble fireplace with a tv mirror directly above it.

Although the romantic city waited for us outside our bedroom door, we were just so content spending time in our room.

Another show stopping element of our stay at Hotel R was the bathroom. The window had a beautiful view of a Parisian courtyard and let in so much light. It was the optimal space for getting dolled up every morning. I especially loved showering with the rain feature and stepping out and getting wrapped up in a towel freshly heated on the towel warming rack.

Delicious Breakfast

Each morning we headed downstairs to indulge in their decadent breakfast buffet. I had my morning chocolate croissant + cappuccino accompanied by eggs and a Nutella crepe. I definitely let myself splurge and throw my diet to the wind (and it was so worth it!).

An aspect that I love about Parisian breakfast buffets is their charcuterie section. They had a wide variety of cheeses and meats to choose from and all were delicious.

Cappuccinos Any Time Of The Day - It's always coffee o'clock!

I am such a coffee addict, and I absolutely loved that the front desk offered custom coffee drinks all hours of the day. Since coffee bars aren't located on every corner in Paris like they are in the states, it was comforting to have this 24/hr coffee bar at our disposal :)

Amazing Staff

We had such a wonderful experience with the staff at Hotel R. The woman who checked us in was the sweetest; she gave us incredible restaurant recommendations. When traveling abroad, its east to get home sick and frustrated about not knowing where anything is, so we really enjoyed talking to her. She eased our minds and mades us feel right at home.

One day, we were headed to Versailles and had no clue how to get there, and the concierge gave us the best + cheapest route. They are located right next to several train entrances which made traveling a breeze!

Hotel R is located near the neighborhood of Montmartre which is home to the iconic Moulin Rouge. Johnny and I walked to Sacre Coeur, and had a lovely time exploring the streets of Paris in the summer sunshine. We were also a very short walking distance from yummy restaurants and pubs, which we enjoyed walking to at dinner time.
