There’s something so personal about creating a bedroom that feels like you. For us, the goal was to strike the perfect balance between cozy, elevated, and intentionally calm—think soft textures, layered neutrals, and timeless design details. I’m so excited to finally share the full reveal of our bedroom makeover, and every little detail that brought it together.

THE ULTIMATE UPGRADE: OUR WINDOW TREATMENTS

Let’s start with the star of the show: the window glow-up that completely changed the game.

We installed custom motorized blackout shades and pleated linen drapes from Two Pages, and the difference has been unreal. Our bedroom is now giving serious luxury hotel energy—and I’ve never slept better. Each shade is linked to a remote, so we can raise or lower them all with one click. No cords, no uneven panels—just smooth, effortless control.

If you’ve been searching for that one detail to make your space feel like a boutique hotel… this is it.

THE PALETTE

We anchored the room with Northwood Brown by Benjamin Moore, a rich, earthy tone that instantly brought depth and warmth without overwhelming the space. To give the walls added texture and architectural interest, we installed picture frame molding—subtle, timeless, and a total game changer.

THE PIECES

Every piece in this space was chosen to add both comfort and visual character:

THE FINAL TOUCHES

To finish the room, we layered in textured bedding, soft neutrals, and personal pieces that make the space feel lived-in and serene. The result is a bedroom that feels custom, calming, and truly us.

I hope this inspires you to lean into the details and create a space that reflects your energy. And if you're looking to transform a room without a full reno—start with the windows. Trust me on that one.
