The Beauty Products I'm Trying This Fall

✧ As of late, I have become such a beauty junkie. I love trying new products, especially when the seasons change and I am looking to make a change with them. My skin tends to be dryer this time of year, and I have been on the hunt for hydrating + multipurpose products. Using highlighter as an eyeshadow, and eyeshadow as a contour really saves space in my makeup bag and looks just as amazing.

✧ We are still riding out a heat wave here in SoCal (please go away 110 degree weather!) and because of the temperature spikes, I have been opting for less makeup. I've compiled a list of my essentials for you babes, with some products are on the pricier side (but are worth the investment) and others are budget friendly holy-grail finds.

✧ My essentials include: hydrating masks, a color correcting primer (double duty), liquid foundation, powder, highlight + contour, a bit of mascara and eyeliner and a lip color. Here are some of my go-to's this month.

Dior // these are the luxury items that are worth splurging on. Airflash and Dreamskin are both foundations that I cannot live without. The coverage is incredible, and doesn't look or feel cake-y. 'The unique micro-diffusion system delivers a fine mist of foundation to provide a soft, velvety complexion.'

Becca // the Backlight Targeted Colour Corrector in Violet is a must have! I also love their First Light Priming Filter, which also has color correcting properties. The new Skin Love Weightless Blur Foundation line has incredible coverage, I'm talking one-and-done, you don't need any powder with this! Perfect for that transitional/fall weather. They sent me over 20 shades, so finding my perfect match is a breeze. (especially when I have a spray tan and am in between foundation shades, its nice to have so many options to use to mix my own)

Skindinavia // the essential makeup setting spray that feels light and airy (they make Urban Decay's "All-Nighter" setting sprays!) I honestly love both.

Bare minerals // these BM products are tried and true and have been in my makeup bag since high school: the Mineral Veil + Original foundation Powder is a holy grail come up!

Buxom // I'm always on the hunt for the perfect nude lipsticks, and I HAVE FOUND THEM! Let me tell you about the Pillow Pout collection. "A unique, instantly-plumping lip powder that delivers a blotted, semi-matte finish for an all-day, comfortable wear. Thanks to its innovative wet powder technology and mess-free sponge applicator, this weightless, pout-plumping pigment glides seamlessly across lips to deliver rich color that never feels dry or tight. The smudge-proof formula provides a soft and sexy stained effect that stays put for up to eight hours—no matter what you get up to during the day or night. Available in ten vivid shades designed to build to your perfect coverage, ranging from subtle nudes to bold berries." and I'm OBSESSED. I love the shades: Cozy Up, Soft Whisper, Darling Dolly, Cuddle Me, and So Spicy.

Urban Decay // this brand has been a staple for me in the eyeshadow world for years. When they sent me the Born To Run collection, I added a new favorite to the family! It has bold shades mixed in with subtle neutrals for me to achieve any look I'm going for. I also live by the Eyeshadow Primer Potion and All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray.

Dior // HELLO beautiful lashes! I've never tried a lash primer, but as soon as I started using Dior Show Maximizer 3D Triple Volume Plumping Lash Primer, I cannot apply mascara without this as a base coat. It helps the mascara to cling to your lashes, so you only need one coat of the Dior Show Iconic Overcurl mascara. The Dior collection lifts and separates my lashes and makes me feel like lash extensions are obsolete.

Becca // by far the best highlighters around! I love the rose-y tones the best! They add such a glow. I have found myself using the Under eye Brightening Setting Powder often. It's the perfect size to throw in your purse for quick touch ups. I also use it to clean up any eye shadow fall out.

Lavido // if you are a fan of natural product, you're going to love these! Their lavender soap is so relaxing! I also love their Aromatic Body Oil, it smells super earthy and is great to use before bed. I also love their Aromatic Body Lotion! My favorite scent is musk and coconut.

Derma doctor // Nobody likes acne, and the Derma Doctor Aint Misbehavin' cleanser and spot treatment come in handy!

Coola // every girl loves a good tan, and Coola has come out with a self tanner that not only gives you a bronze glow, it firms your skin! Bye-bye loose skin. It also smells like you're on a permanent vacation sipping pina coladas, which I love using in the fall to bring back Summer memories! In addition to this, they have made an Anti Aging Face Serum that gives you an instant glow + has anti aging properties. Did I mention they're 70%+ organic?! And the best part is, if you dont like the results, it fades in 3 days.

Farmacy // the Honeymoon Glow - AHA Resurfacing Night Cream is a lifesaver when traveling. It brightens and tightens my skin, and I wake up looking like I got a rejuvenating 12 hours of sleep when Ive managed to sleep 4. The 14% AHA/BHA flower acid blend has exfoliating properties, leaving your skin looking smoother and youthful looking. You only need to use 1-2 pumps 2-3 times per week, so the bottle will last you awhile.

I also recommend their Bright On Vitamin C Mask. It is massage activated and oh-so-amazing. This can be done 2-3 times per week as well. I recommend using each of these on alternating days, with one day off.

Algenist // this is one of my favorite lines for Retinol. I use the Vegan Retinol, and have seen immediate results. It helps with my acne, and I have seen a reduction in pore size. I like to use it every other day. They just launched their Prebiotic Balancing Mask that changes colors! Once it turns from green to pink, you know you are done massaging it into your skin and can relax for 3-5 minutes before washing it off! (Plus, this formula is vegan, clean and sustainably-produced. It also includes NO gluten, GMO, binders, waxes, fillers, alcohol, phthalates, sulfates, parabens, triclosan, nitrosamines, synthetic dyes, fragrance, or mineral oil. AKA bad stuff.)
