Once in a Lifetime Experience you HAVE to try :)

While in Oahu, I conquered 2 of my biggest fears: flying + heights. We booked our 1.5 hour tour with Barbers Point Aviation for a helicopter ride (without doors) around the island. As soon as we chose to have no doors, I was immediately terrified. I was thinking there is no way this is going to end well. But, it was the most incredible experience and if you ever take a helicopter ride, I highly recommend taking the doors off if this choice is available to you. Daniel was the best tour guide, EVER. Make sure you request him, you'll that me later. We mentioned being interested in doing the stairway to heaven hike, and he told us that it was illegal and instead flew us sideways over the hike and we got to experience a rush like no other and also avoid the cardio pain and legal troubles of the hike.
