48 HOURS AT THE YARA

I’ve stayed at my fair share of dreamy hotels, but The Yara has officially earned a permanent spot on my must-return list. Tucked away in the heart of Palm Springs but somehow still feeling totally private, this place has quickly become my go-to escape. It's giving boutique hotel meets architectural digest fantasy.

This was my second time staying at The Yara and somehow it was even better than I remembered. The second you walk through the gate, it feels like you’ve been transported to your own desert compound. I stayed in the same suite as last time (because, obviously), and it still had that dreamy, perfectly neutral palette, with a huge shower, soft linen bedding, and the kind of lighting that makes you want to take a selfie every hour.

Let’s talk poolside. It’s the kind of setup you scroll past on Pinterest and immediately save to your "dream stay" board. Cream fringe umbrellas, striped towels, and chilled rosé within arm’s reach. I lived in a bikini, oversized hat, and SPF—and fully embraced doing absolutely nothing. Highly recommend booking a private pool suite if you're going with a friend or your S.O.

The Yara is self check-in (no front desk, which I actually love), and there's this unbothered, low-key energy that makes you feel like you’re staying at your ultra-stylish friend’s vacation house. You can fully unwind without the awkward lobby small talk. I brought my own snacks and skincare and basically moved in for a few days.

Final thoughts? Book the trip. Whether you're looking for a solo reset, a romantic weekend, or just an aesthetically pleasing backdrop for content (guilty), The Yara is worth it. You’ll leave relaxed, glowy, and already planning your return. I know I am.
