Winter is basically #fakenews in California. It is mid December, and the temperatures are just now dropping into the low 70's. UGH. I just want to wear my furry coats + winter boots without sweating my a$$ off. Unfortunately, I wont be able to until January. Until then, I'll just be rocking light layers. During late Fall and early Winter, my favorite wardrobe hack is layering warm neutral tones and textures. I love the look of a waffle knit sweater underneath a teddy coat because mixing these textures adds dimension to an outfit. A waffle knit sweater is a great option this time of year because it is lightweight and looks amazing layered underneath basically anything. Another hack to dressing for a California winter is mixing summer and winter items into one look.
