WE'RE ENGAGED!!

OMFG, what a week it has been! Last week, the love of my life proposed to me in the most magical l location I could imagine. Every last detail was intricately considered and he pulled off the surprise of a lifetime. I am still on cloud nine and cannot wait to marry my best friend!!

December 17th, Johnny and I had a massive photoshoot campaign planned. We woke up early and headed out the Glamis. I had my nails done special, hair done, and several aesthetically pleasing outfits planned for the occasion. (Johnny later tells me that I basically planned my own engagement LOL)

We shot a few looks, and Johnny was really stressing that he wanted to get a sunset drone shot (typical) so I thought that this was nothing out of the ordinary and we set up for filming.

He asked me to walk away from him, then stop on the edge of the dune and stressed NOT to turn around (this should have been the dead giveaway that he was up to something, but I just always listen to his direction with drone clips because he always directs the shot). It was SO cold and pretty windy so I was shaking. I was waiting for him to tell me he got the shot and I could go change, but instead I turned around and saw him walking up to me. He held me and warmed me up and said “You know how much I love you, right?” And I responded “Yeeeesssss…..” with a confused smirk. The next events went by in total slow motion for me. He slowly got down on one knee, and asked me to marry him. I feel like I just stood there with my mouth wide open, in total shock and totally on cloud nine. I fought back tears and responded with a HUGE YES!! I fell to the ground and hugged him and he put the most beautiful ring on my finger. I am so in love with this man and the stunning ring that he custom designed. The cherry on top is that he filmed the whole proposal on the drone and we have the footage to cherish throughout our lifetime together. Full warning, it’s hard to watch without crying! :)

I am so excited to love this man for the rest of my life and am thrilled to take his last name October 2020.
