Before going to Hawaii, I had no clue what a Yurt was. Now, i whole heartedly believe that owning one is in my future :) These are the most perfect little houses I've had the pleasure of staying in. They're made of lattice, and military grade canvas which makes for the perfect tropical beach home. I absolutely love how the walls fold back to reveal screens that let in lots fresh air all around the home. We stayed in the 20 foot yurt, and the 16 foot safari yurt, which was so rad. The bed was set up on a loft, and the top of the yurt was made out of plexi glass in the middle to look out and see the stars, and watch the sunrise. So magical!
Ohana Yurts property, tOn the he bathroom is built separately outside the main structures. It is the most beautiful space I've ever seen. That may sound weird, but after you scroll down and see the photos, you'll see what I'm swooning over. Definitely including this bathroom design when it comes time for me to build mine :) It was a dream showering and getting ready in their in the morning with the tropical noises & breeze.
